Platform Copings
Camel’s rail products are now painted with highly durable epoxy skid resistant paint and are manufactured using our renowned durable high strength 55kN/mm2 in accordance with BS8110 and to Network Rails individual specification. All platform copings and tactile products adhere to BS7976 regarding pendulum accredited slip resistance.
We now offer two surface finishes from stock, Acid Etched, Exposed Aggregate and Hi-grip Aggregate These are available in all plan sizes and thicknesses. Also we can supply a made-to-order product using a specialist aggregate that when textured, achieves an exceptional PTV result.

Handling and Installation
Camel would recommend the use of a vacuum lifter in accordance with HSE guidelines to position products when on site. The base should be a standard sand/cement mortar base and a dowel rod should be used where necessary when laying platform copings.

Factory painted copings
We can now offer our platform copings complete with factorypainted pedestrian warning white line to aid in the reduction of on-site preparation and the loss of productivity due to inclement weather conditions.
